Breast Cancer and Ovarian Cancer Risk
Develops women who have breast cancer or a family history of disease are also encouraged to monitor the symptoms of ovarian cancer. This important information needs for the ears of all women, or who have breast cancer or a family and have, therefore, are most at risk of developing the disease. Should women with breast cancer really worried about ovarian cancer, as well? The studies were not only necessary, if, but also that women should be done about it too. BRCA1 and BRCA2 in breast cancer and mutations in these genes lead to breast cancer in some patients. But even women who do not seem to mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 develop the disease. Then, of course, there is a link here, and perhaps another gene might be involved here. And what these genes reflect the risk of ovarian cancer? If women are afraid to attack and possibly what can be done? The results suggest that although the risk is low, there is a clear link between breast cancer and ovarian cancer, cancer survivors breast for signs of ovarian cancer as good. Previous research indicates that if a woman one of two cancer genes BRCA1 or BRCA2 breast, which carry a high risk of ovarian cancer as well. The risk is almost 60 times more than the general population. Geneticists also recommended the removal of the ovaries after women have children with the genes BRCA1 or BRCA2.
The general consensus seems to believe that patients with breast cancer is also the risk of ovarian cancer as well and implement strategies to reduce the risk of detection or preventive surgery. But now, new research has shown that patients can be diagnosed with breast cancer without BRCA1 and BRCA2, there is an increased risk of developing ovarian cancer. This message will be a relief for women who believe the first who were at high risk of ovarian cancer and the removal of the ovaries and uterus of the test. Now, with the research needed for further research, preventive measures seem drastic.
Research is underway to understand the risk of hereditary breast cancer genes so far unknown. Although there is a low risk of ovarian cancer patients with breast cancer, at least not justify an aggressive preventive surgery.
