Natural Weight Loss Supplements
Many weight loss pills, even natural weight loss supplements contain stimulants. Stimulants in a weight loss supplement are designed to give you more energy and to boost your metabolic rate, causing you to burn more calories. These are helpful to dieters, but some people are sensitive to stimulants and feel jittery. Stimulants can also make you irritable and cause difficulty going to sleep. If you drink a lot of coffee or soda with caffeine, adding a weight loss supplement with stimulants should be done with caution.
People who are sensitive to stimulants should make sure the natural weight loss supplements they are buying do not contain caffeine. But caffeine is not the only stimulant used in weight loss supplements.
Green tea sounds harmless enough, but it is a stimulant. If you are not sensitive to stimulants, don’t shy away from a weight loss supplement just because it contains green tea. Green tea is a great antioxidant. Guarana is popular in natural weight loss supplements, it is a strong source of caffeine. Yerba Mate is also a stimulant.
Since stimulants have so many different names, it is very important, whichever weight loss supplement that you are taking, to take only the recommended dose and no more. Many people are fooled into thinking that natural weight loss supplements do not contain stimulants, but this is not true.
